With special joy and with the solemn blessings of His Eminence the Metropolitan of Halkidos, Istiaia and Northern Sporades, Mr. Chrysostomos, the Holy Church of Agios Panteleimonos Loutra Edipsos Announces the Arrival of the Miraculous Holy Icon of Panagia Diniou, which will be placed for the blessing and worship of the faithful, on the occasion of the commemoration of the Inauguration of the Holy Church of Agios Panteleimonos. The Holy Icon of the Virgin Mary will be transferred to the Holy Church on Monday, September 14, 2026, the day on which our Church celebrates the Universal Exaltation of the Holy and Life-giving Cross. It will be officially welcomed in the Propylaea of ​​the Holy Church (06:00 pm) and then a Great Vespers and Salutations of the Holy Cross will be held, where at the end the faithful will have the special blessing of breaking a gold-bound Cross with a piece of wood inside it.
