Anthimos of Alexandroupolis: Saint Cyprian is a timeless example of repentancetranslated

With ecclesiastical splendor and the participation of a large number of believers, the memory of the Holy Hieromartyr Cyprian and the Holy Martyr Justina was celebrated again this year in the Holy Metropolis of Alexandroupolis, on October 2, 2026. The focus of the celebration, as every year, was the chapel of the same name, which is located in the separate courtyard area of the hill, where the Stavride Ecclesiastical Foundation for Chronic Sufferers "Saint Kyprian" of the Holy Metropolis of Alexandroupolis operates.

On Thursday, October 1, 2026, the eve of the feast, the Great High Priestly Vespers service of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Alexandroupolis Mr. Anthimos was held. A multitude of believers from Alexandroupoli and more widely from Evros and Thrace came to the Foundation to worship and receive the blessing of the honored Saints.
