Consecration and delivery of school bags to the "Protakia" of the Association of Multi-Children of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki "All Saints"translated

The President and the Board of Directors of the Central Association of Parents of Parents of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki "OI AGIOI PANDES" are organizing a school bag distribution event at the "Protakia" of the Association. At the same time, a consecration will be held for the new school year.

The event will take place at the Thessaloniki City Hall in the "Manolis Anagnostakis" hall on Sunday, September 13, 2026, starting time

19:00 exactly.

After the end of the event, there will be a reception and an entertainment program for the children.

Хорошо, что детям школьные сумки дарят, особенно первоклашкам. У нас в Екатеринбурге тоже такие акции бывают, но без агиасмоса редко обходится. Интересно, сколько «протаков» в этом году придёт?

It is good that bags are given to children, especially first graders. In Vinnytsia, we also hold such promotions at parishes, and agiasmos is always held at the beginning of September. I wonder how many first-graders will gather at the town hall this time.

Nice to see the blessing of the waters right at the start of the school year for those little first-graders. Our parish does something similar every August with backpacks and a short prayer before classes begin. Wonder how many kids will actually show up at city hall that Sunday.

In Yekaterinburg, we also give bags to first-graders with many children, but usually at the parish, and not at the mayor’s office. I wonder how many “protaks” will come this year and whether there will be enough space in the Manolis Anagnostakis hall. Agiasmos at the beginning of the year is a good thing.
