Collaboration between the Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Municipality of Nicosia for Issues Concerning the Exarchate in Cyprustranslated

For issues concerning the development of the assets of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem in Nicosia, Metropolitan Theophilos of Zion and the Mayor of Nicosia, Charalambos Prontzos, discussed during a meeting held on Tuesday, September 15th, at the Palalia Patriarchate. The Mayor was accompanied by colleagues as well as the Deputy of the Republic of Cyprus in Ramallah, Stavros Maris. Referring to the Exarchate that the Patriarchate of Jerusalem maintains in Cyprus under the Exarch, Metropolitan Timotheos of Bostro, Metropolitan Theophilos assured the Mayor regarding the issues discussed that there is a relevant Economic Department Committee of the Patriarchate, which will collaborate with the Exarchate of Cyprus and the Municipality of Nicosia.

After exchanging gifts, the Mayor visited to venerate the Church of Resurrection accompanied by the Patriarchal Eparch, Metropolitan Hesychios of Capitoliodon.
