The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Symi, Tilos, Chalkis and Kastellorizo Mr. Chrysostomos officiated at Orthros and celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Parish Church of Agios Eleftherios Symi on Sunday, August 30, 2026, with co-celebrants Fr. Georgios Kakakios and the Hierodeacon Fr. Pavlos Terezakis, while the the sacred Analogy was preached by the Hyeropsaltes Mr. Eleftherios Xirakis and Mr. Panormitis Kakakios. His Holiness preached the divine word, analyzing today's Sunday's Gospel passage, in which our Lord likens the Kingdom of God to a vineyard, which the host entrusts to worthy farmers to cultivate.

Glad to see how Metropolitan Chrysostom explains the parable of the vineyard in such detail. Here in Poltava, grapes also produced well this year, but we had to take good care of them so that they did not wither. I wonder what exactly he said about "good husbandmen" - did he mention the importance of not being lazy?

In my vegetable garden near Odesa, grapes also produced this year, but without constant watering and pruning, nothing would have happened. And what kind of variety do you have in Poltava that gave so well?
