The Metropolitan of Seleucia at the Holy Church of Agios Stefanos and Osias Paraskevi of Epivatini Ptolemaistranslated

In the Holy Church of Agios Stefanos and Osias Paraskevi of Epivatini Ptolemais, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated today, Sunday 11th of Matthew, August 16, 2026, by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Seleucia, Mr. Theodoros, from the Ecumenical Patriarchate. In his sermon, he referred to the message of the day, calling on the faithful to remain firmly and trustingly close to the Church and Christ. He made special reference to the sacred person of the Blessed Virgin Mary, underlining Her unique position in the plan of the Divine Economy and in the mystery of the Incarnation of the Son and Word of God.

Before the dismissal, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Seleucia Mr. Theodoros warmly thanked the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Floris, Prespa and Iordaia Mr. Irenaios for the normal permission and blessing to officiate in the Holy Church, while expressing his joy for his presence in the local Church. He also conveyed to the congregation the paternal wish and the solemn Patriarchal blessing of His Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch, Mr. Bartholomew.
