Visitation by the Most Excellent President of the Hellenic Republictranslated

On Sunday, September 13, 2026, in the afternoon, the Most Excellent President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Constantinos Tassoulas, attended events commemorating the Holocaust of Viannos as invited by our Most Reverend Archbishop Metropolitan Andreas, along with Mayor Minos Pidias, Vice Mayors, and clergy.

The Most Reverend Archbishop Metropolitan Andreas welcomed the Most Excellent President at the Cultural Center in the Center of Solidarity and at the Social Clinic-Pharmacy. He briefed him on the social and philanthropic work as well as other activities carried out by our Church.

Mr. President expressed his appreciation for the contribution of the local Church and congratulated His Excellency and the supporters of the Holy Metropolitan for their significant support to our fellow citizens. At the end, His Excellency was given an icon of the Virgin and a commemorative candle in honor of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the establishment of the Metropolitan (2001-2026).
