Vigil of Panagia Gorgoipikou in the "Despotiko" of Lamiatranslated

With a Holy Hierarchal Vigil, the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotidos was welcomed in the month of October at the Holy Metropolitan Chapel of the Annunciation of the Theotokos of the Holy Episcopate in Lamia, in the historic and emblematic "Despotiko". The 1st of October every year for the local Church is the beginning of a great Litany throughout Fthiotida, under the title: "Litaning the Evangelist of Joy", where every day, the fragment of the Holy Hand of the Evangelist Luke, the Patron Saint, is litanized from one end of the land of Fthiotida, to the Parish Churches, while this year the focus of the Litany is all the Holy Monasteries and the Monastic Seats of Fthiotidos.
