Excursion of the children's group of the Radio Station of the Metropolis of Kastoriatranslated

On Saturday, September 5, 2026, for the fourth consecutive year, the established pilgrimage and entertainment excursion of the children's group of the Radio Station of the Holy Metropolis of Kastoria "Saint Gregory the Theologian 97.9 FM" took place. The trip is also a practical expression of thanks to all the children who spend time and cooperate with the Radio Station, participating in its children's programs and activities.

This year's destinations were Edessa, the city closely associated with Agios Kallinikos, and Emporio Eordaia, a village near Ptolemais, which in recent years has gained particular recognition thanks to the important ecclesiastical and cultural work carried out there, centered on the Holy Church of God Sophia, which is a miniature of the Hagia Sophia in Constantinople.

The excursionists left Kastoria early in the morning, with joy and enthusiasm. A special honor and blessing was, for one more year, the presence of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Kastoria, Mr. Kallinikos, who regularly accompanies the children and the partners of the Radio Station on their annual trips.
