The Consul General of Greece in Geneva to the Metropolitan of Switzerlandtranslated

The Consul General of Greece in Geneva, Eleni Petroulas, today held a formal meeting with the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Switzerland, His Eminence and Exarch of Europe, Mr. Maximos, in the presence of the Most Reverend Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne, Mr. Vassiliou Kotrotsiou. During this first meeting, the common will to continue close cooperation was confirmed, with the aim of supporting Hellenism in the region.

The Consul General assured His Eminence of the importance the Hellenic Republic attaches to the strengthening of the Orthodox communities of the Diaspora throughout the world, under the guidance of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
