The Mykonians commemorated the Saint Neomartyr Manuel of Cretetranslated

A high-priestly Divine Liturgy was held on the morning of Sunday, September 27, in the Holy Metropolitan Church of the Great Virgin of Mykonos, officiated by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Syros, Mr. Dorotheos II, with the participation of all the City Priests, on the holy memory of the Holy Neomartyr Manuel of Crete, who lived for decades in Mykonos and, having left it for his professional activities, he was martyred in Chios in 1792, following the betrayal of his family to the Ottomans.
