Bishop of the Armenian Church of North America in Fanaritranslated

Bishop Mesrob Parsamyan, head of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America, visited the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Istanbul and met with His Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Mgr. Bartholomew. The meeting took place in a spirit of fraternity and focused on the importance of common Christian witness and the service of Church unity and peace.

During the meeting, Bishop Mesrob Parsamyan expressed his deep respect and gratitude to Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, appreciating his faithful ministry and unwavering commitment to the pursuit of Christian unity, as well as his tireless efforts to promote peace and dialogue and care for God's creation.

Bishop Mesrob and his entourage left the Patriarchate with gratitude, expressing their appreciation for Patriarch Bartholomew's wisdom, his generous hospitality and his total dedication to his ministry.

Here in Michalovce, the parish circle and I cleaned the bank of Laborac from plastics last year, and it would be nice if the Armenian brothers joined in such things, at least here in the east. Whether in America or here, real works by the river speak louder than words.
