In front of the Virgin of Olives, the High Priestly Divine Liturgy in Evangelistria of Nafpliotranslated

Orthros and High Priestly Divine Liturgy was celebrated on Sunday, October 4, 2026 by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Argolis, Mr. Nektarios, in the Holy Church of Evangelistria, Nafplion. The miraculous icon of Our Lady of the Mount of Olives from Jerusalem has been placed in the Church for a few days of worship.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Vicar of the Church Fr. Eleftherios Michos thanked the Metropolitan of Argolis for celebrating the Divine Liturgy as well as the faithful who daily flood the church from all over Greece. This was followed by an honorary award to Ilias Vlachopoulos, a former commissioner of the Church for many years, where he serves the church unprofitably every day to this day.

The Holy Icon will remain in Nafplio for veneration until Tuesday, October 6, 2026 and Holy Masses will be held daily.
