Halkidiki: Recording of the damage from the fire in Siviritranslated

The damage caused by the fire, which broke out last Thursday in Siviri, Halkidiki, has been recorded by the competent committees since today, in order to determine the extent of the damage to household appliances and businesses and to pay the necessary compensations. Next Wednesday, August 19, in the first "leg" of Halkidiki, there will be a government echelon headed by the Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Kostas Katsafados, who will initially go to the field of the fire and then a meeting will be held at the Kassandreia town hall with the participation of all competent bodies.

"With today's data and based on the first records, it seems that two-three houses were completely burned, while another six-seven were damaged externally. Also, the perimeter of the burned area amounts to approximately 2,500 acres", the deputy governor of Halkidiki, Yiannis Koufidis, told APE-MPE.

He also emphasized that at Wednesday's meeting with the presence of a government echelon, the "next day of the fire" will be discussed, because damage was caused to the biological cleaning facilities, which are still working, but also...

It’s good that they started calculating the damage right away and didn’t drag it out. Two or three houses burned down completely - this is serious, especially if people lived there permanently. I wonder what they will say at the meeting on Wednesday about biological treatment, there is damage there, but it still works.

Glad they're getting the damage counts started right away instead of dragging it out. Two or three houses completely gone is rough, especially if folks lived there year-round. Curious what they'll decide about the biological treatment plant on Wednesday, since it's still running despite the damage.
