The Venerable Metropolitan of Syros Mr. Dorotheos II this morning, accompanied by the High Priestly Commissioner of Syros, performed the Consecration for the start of the new School year, consecutively, in educational institutions of the island. Specifically, at the 1st Primary School of Ermoupoleos, in the complex where the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Gymnasiums of Syros are co-located, in the area of ​​"Xirokampos", and in the complex of Lyceums of Syros, in the area of ​​Ano Manna. He addressed his wishes to the Teachers and Students and assured them of the readiness of the Holy Metropolis to assist, to the extent of its capabilities, as every year, in addressing needs and solving problems that hinder the smooth educational process.

The head of primary education of the South Aegean Region, Mrs. Irini Tzavala, also attended the 1st Primary School.
