The Hierarchal Church of Saint Agathagelos in Florina Was Dedicatedtranslated

On Tuesday morning, September 15, 2026, the Very Reverend Metropolitan of Florina, Prespa and Eordaea, Archimandrite Ireneios, completed the consecration and laid the foundation stone for the new Hierarchal Church dedicated to Saint Agathagelos of Florina. The church will be built on the grounds of the National Defense Fund (TEPHA), opposite the 1st Peziki Constitution Building, which is set to be transformed into a historical park.

During the ceremony, the Commandant of the 1st Constitution Battalion, Colonel Anestis Anestis, and military officials were present.

The Archbishop prayed for the smooth progress of the works and their swift completion.
