Divine Liturgy in the port of Ghanatranslated

With the blessing of the Reverend Metropolitan of Accra, Mr. Daniel, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Holy Church of Agios Nikolaos "of the Greeks", in the New Town area of the city of Tema, where the largest port of Ghana is located. The Divine Liturgy was presided over by the Panosiology Archimandrite Fr. Iakovos Daglas Larbi, with the participation of believers from the small but vibrant Orthodox Community of the area, as well as students from the adjacent "Agios Nikolaos" School.

The Honorable Mr. Konstantinos Dermetzis, President of the Greek and Cypriot Community of Ghana, was also present, expressing with his presence the timeless ties of the Greek parish with the historic Church of Agios Nikolaos.

The celebration of the Holy Eucharist was another opportunity for spiritual strengthening and communion for the Orthodox of Tema, but also a living testimony of the presence of the Orthodox Church in the bustling port city of Ghana.
