Kifisias Kyrillos: Let each of us see himself as a servant of Christtranslated

A General Priestly Assembly was held in our Holy Metropolis, today, Monday, September 28, 2026, in the Holy Church of the Holy Trinity of Nea Kifissia. The main speaker was the Reverend Pastor, Metropolitan of Kifissia, Amarousi, Oropou and Marathon, Mr. Kyrillos, with the subject of his presentation "Pastoral reminders of priestly self-awareness at the beginning of the new ecclesiastical year". After the prayer, His Eminence welcomed the priests and, starting his presentation, he said that with the guidance of Paul, the Apostle of the Nations, he would like to remind and remind everyone that the priest is first and foremost a "deacon of settlement" between God and man and between man and his brother. Among other things, he emphasized that

a) Sin is enmity towards God "therefore those who follow the desires of the flesh cannot please God".
