Another successful YAL conference takes place in Clevelandtranslated

With the blessing of the Most Reverend Archbishop of America, Mr. Elpidophoros, the Young Adults National Association (YAL) Conference was held in Cleveland, Ohio. Hosted by His Eminence Metropolitan of Pittsburgh Mr. Savva and the Greek Orthodox Diocese of Pittsburgh the Conference brought together young adults representing 24 states from the United States and Canada.

The Conference provided five days of worship, learning, giving, fellowship and leadership development under the theme "Rise and Build: Claim Your Calling."

Made possible by a founding grant from Leadership 100 and the generosity of numerous private donors and sponsors, the YAL National Conference continues to be the premier national gathering of Orthodox Christian young adults within the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. Based on the pillars of the Conference, worship, witness, giving and communion, the Conference challenged participants to deepen their relationship with Christ while exploring their unique role in building vibrant parish communities and serving the Church.

Ксения СоловьёваIt is good that youth from 24 states and Canada gathered for five days around the theme “Rise and Build: Accept Your Call.” I wonder what master classes or lectures helped them later in practice in their parishes. In our Sunday school we also try to ensure that after such meetings there is not just inspiration, but real action.
