Ordination of a New Presbyter in Ptolemaidatranslated

On Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Holy Church of Saint Skepsis Ptolemaida, an Archieratic Divine Liturgy was celebrated, presided over by the Very Reverend Bishop of Almopia, Archbishop Stephen, and the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Florina, Prespa, and Eordaias, Bishop Ireneos. Following the Matins, the Very Reverend Stephen officiated. Many clergy from our Holy Metropolis, as well as from other Hierarchies, participated in the Divine Liturgy. Present were the Deputy Speaker P.E. Kozanis Evstathios Konstantinidis, the Mayor of Eordaias Panagiotis Plakanas, the Director of the Trochia Department of Eordaias Spyridonas Tasi, representatives from other authorities and associations, as well as a large congregation.

The central event of the Eucharistic gathering was the ordination of Deacon Luke Manavas to the priesthood, a married man with a child.
