The memory of the Holy Glorious Great Martyr Efstathios was celebrated with splendor in the celebratory Holy Parish Church of Agios Efstathios in Kontochori, Santorini. On the morning of Sunday, September 20, 2026, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Thira, Amorgos and Islands, Mr. Amfilochios, officiated at the procession of Orthros and presided over the solemn Divine Liturgy.

The divine word was preached by the preacher of the Holy Metropolis, archim. Mattheos Barousis, who referred to the life and martyrdom of Saint Eustathius, underlining the unwavering faith and patience with which he faced the great trials of his life.
