Consecration for the start of the new Academic Year at the School of Medicine, EKPAtranslated

On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, the established Consecration for the start of the new Academic Year took place in the Meeting Room of the Medical School, which was performed for the fifth consecutive year by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Zambia and Mozambique Mr. Ioannis. The event was attended by the Rector of EKPA, Professor G. Siassos, the former Rector of EKPA and Honorary Professor of the School of Medicine Mr. X. Kittas, the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Professor E. Efstathopoulos, the Executive Director of the School of Medicine, Dr. E. Vassilopoulou, the Dean of the School of Sciences of Health, Professor P. Lagiou, the Vice President of the School of Medicine, Professor K. Tsioufis, members of the Board of Directors, as well as a number of Professors, Professors and Administrative Employees of the School.

The Rector of EKPA, Professor G. Siassos, wished a good and creative academic year to all students and academics who are a beacon of education.
