Pandemic reception of the Holy Relic of Agios Nektarios in Kryoneri (PHOTO)translated

On Friday, September 18, 2026, the holy relic of Agios Nektarios, Bishop of Pentapolis, was received at the Holy Church of Agios Panteleimonos Kryonerios, by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Ilios, Acharnes and Petropolis.

The parish of Agios Panteleimonos Kryonerio has the special blessing and honor to celebrate the Holy Feast of Panagia Pantanassi and to receive for veneration the honorable hand of our Holy Father Nektarios, Bishop of Pentapolis in Aegina, from the Holy Monastery of Agia Triad – Agios Nektarios of Aegina, of the Holy Metropolis Hydra, Spetses and Aegina, for the blessing, strengthening and sanctification of the faithful.

The holy pilgrimage and devotional services will take place from September 18 to 27, 2026. The festivities will conclude on Sunday, September 27, with an evening Divine Liturgy.

The High Priestly Divine Liturgy on Sunday, September 20th, during which the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Ilio, Acharnon and Petropolis, Mr. Athenagoras, will officiate.
