Sanctification on the beginning of the Indictus at the Metropolitan Chapel of the Evangelistria of Tripolitranslated

On Tuesday, September 1, 2026, the beginning of the new Ecclesiastical Year and the Feast of Indiktus were celebrated with particular splendor, rapture and spiritual joy in the Holy Metropolis of Mantineia and Kynouria, centered on the Holy Chapel of the Evangelistria of Tripoli, near the Old Hospital, which is now entering a new period of constant worship and pastoral life. The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Mantineia and Kynouria, Mr. Epifanios, officiated at the Mass of Orthros and, after the end of the Divine Liturgy, performed the prescribed Mass of Sanctification at the beginning of the new Ecclesiastical Year, wishing that the new season of the Lord's goodness will be for everyone a year of peace, health, repentance, and spiritual fruitfulness and blessing.
