The Feast of Saint Gerasimos the Younger in Leontari of Megalopolistranslated

With particular splendor and the participation of a large number of believers, it was celebrated during the two days of September 14 and 15 AD. in his birthplace, Leontari of Megalopolis, the memory of Saint Gerasimos the New and Wonderworker, who was an ascetic in the Holy Monastery of Agia Triad Sourvia, near the village of Makrinitsa in Magnesia, which was built from pedestals by Saint Dionysios of Olympus and of which Saint Gerasimos is considered the second founder.
On the eve of the feast, the holy Icon and piece of the Holy Relic of Saint Gerasimos were transferred from the Parish Church of Leontario to the Church of the same name, accompanied by the Philharmonic of the Municipality and the pious residents of Leontario.
