The Metropolitan Dorotheos of Syros Consecrated the Liturgy for the New Judicial Yeartranslated

Following the invitation of the Bar Association of Syros and its President Mr. Konstantinos Philellene, the Very Reverend Metropolitan of Syros Dorotheos consecrated today early in the emblematic Prefectural Mansion of Hermoupolis, in the rooms under which the Judicial Services are housed, the Liturgy for the commencement of the new judicial year. The Liturgy was concluded in the presence of the Prefect of Syros-Hermoupolis, the Procurator Epheton, Members of the Judicial Body, the President and Members of the Bar Association of Syros and Judicial Officials.

After thanking the President of the Bar Association of Syros Mr. Konstantinos Philellene for his gracious invitation, Metropolitan Dorotheos V spoke about the faces of the Judges, to whom he wished with their just decisions to guide the unruly and set an example to the virtuous, congratulated the former Procurator Epheton of Aegae, Odysseas Jorbatzoglou, who was recently promoted to Assistant Procurator at Areopagus, and thanked him for his contribution to society in Syros, and invoked blessings upon all in the sacred mission of St. Dionysius the Areopagite, patron saint of judges...
