Inauguration of the new Holy Church in Galipsos Pangaiostranslated

with particular splendor and in an atmosphere of spiritual joy, on the two days of July 11 and 12, 2026, the liturgical events for the feast of St. Paisios of Agioreitos were held, which culminated with the celebration of the Sacred Inauguration of the newly built Holy Church of the Intercessor of Sotiros and of St. Paisios in Galipsos Pangaios, an event of particular importance for the local Church. On the afternoon of Saturday, July 11, the reception of the Holy Relics of the Inauguration took place, which were received with reverence by the holy Clergy and the faithful people. This was followed by the Solemn Vespers of the feast of St. Paisios, with the participation of clergy of the Holy Metropolis of Eleftheroupolis and a multitude of pious pilgrims.

Before the end of the service, the divine word was proclaimed by the Panosiology Archimandrite Fr. Konstantinos Skartoulis, General Hierarchal Commissioner of the Holy Metropolis of Peristeri, who theologically developed the deep meaning of the mystery of the Holy Initiations.
