On the two days of September 5 and 6, 2026, His Eminence Metropolitan of Paranaxia Mr. Kallinikos, invited by His Eminence Metropolitan Dimitrias and Almyros Mr. Ignatios, was in beautiful Pelion to preside over the Feast of the Holy Monastery of Panmegisto Taxiarchon, commemorating the Miracle of the Archangel in Chonai Michael. The abbess mentioning how the monastery serves as a refuge for so many pilgrims really stood out. Nice to see two metropolitans serving together like that on the feast of the Miracle at Chonae. Must have been a powerful vespers with all those people up on Pelion.

The abbess’s words about the monastery being a refuge and place of spiritual renewal really hit home. It’s good to see Metropolitan Kallinikos and Metropolitan Ignatios serving together like that at the feast of the Miracle at Chonae. The crowd up on Pelion for the Great Vespers must have made it feel especially full.

It's nice that Abbess Nikodima talked about how the monastery is a refuge and a place of spiritual rebirth for so many people. Two metropolitans together for the vespers for the Miracle in Honim on Pelion - it must have been powerful. Thanks for sharing, I love hearing about celebrations like this.

I am glad that Abbess Nikodimi spoke about the history of the monastery and how it has become a place of comfort for so many pilgrims today. It is nice to see two metropolitans serving together at the patron saint of Archangel Michael, especially at Vespers with so many people on Pelion. Thanks for the news.
