Reception of the Holy Cara of Saint John the Neomartyr from Terovo in his birthplacetranslated

With particular splendor and the appropriate ecclesiastical order, the clergy and people of Terovo welcomed on the afternoon of Saturday, August 15, 2026, the Holy Cara of Saint John the New Martyr from Terovo, in the homonymous Holy Church of the New Martyr. The reception took place in the context of the anniversary worship events for the completion of 500 years since the martyrdom of Saint John, which were organized by the Cultural Association of Terovo - Rapsaion and the Parish of Terovo, in collaboration with the Holy Metropolis of Ioannina.

This was followed by the celebration of the Great Solemnity High Priestly Vespers with an offering, with the participation of a large number of believers, who came to worship the Holy Chariot of the Saint and to ask for his embassies and blessing.
