This year I didn't make it to Aegina either, but when I read about the liturgy next to the grave of Metropolitan Ierotheus, I remembered how last fall we passed right there with my grandson and I was telling him who the founder was. It is good that they were so folk and with brass music - as if everything is alive. Thanks for the description Rositsa, it really takes you there.

I am glad that you have the memory of walking with the children past the grave of Metropolitan Hierotheus - I have also passed by there several times after fishing around. The sacred music this year really added a special solemnity, especially when they played in front of the church. I hope you can go again next year.

Yes, the moment at the grave of Metropolitan Hierotheus has always made an impression on me - it seems to connect everything. My wife and daughter and I went right there last year after a swim in the bay, and that Musa music must have sounded even louder out in the open. I hope I can make it next year too.

Yes, that moment at the grave of Metropolitan Ieroteu really connects everything, as if you feel the continuity. I haven't reached the litany yet, but last year I went to Aegina with my eldest daughter, I lit a candle right next to those alleys you mention. Are you planning to go with the now older boy?
