Peiraios Serafeim: The Papal Dogma of the "Aspidul's Reception of the Theotokos" through Orthodox Theologytranslated

In honor of the feast of the Hyparchia Theotokou's Nativity, the Very Reverend Metropolitan of Peiraios, K. Serafeim, in the following video presents an apologetic and theological study regarding the papal dogma of the "Aspidul's Reception" and the position of the Orthodox Church concerning this.

"The Theotokos constitutes, from a human perspective, the main face, contributing decisively to the plan of the Divine Economy for the implementation of the divine plan, to receive as mother in flesh the Son and Logos of God, thus becoming such a rational bridge, which united the created with the uncreated, earth with heaven, man with God," notes the Very Reverend characteristically. He also points out that from time to time "various heretics appeared who, trying to alter the biblical and patristic teaching of the Church regarding the Divine Face of Christ, extended their malice to the Person of the Theotokos." "Among the heretics who attack the Theotokos are also the Papal Heretics," he adds.
