Beginning of the school year at the Sunday School “Iliotropion”: an active hike and a lesson in cohesiontranslated

On September 13, the school year at the Sunday school “Iliotropion” of the parish of the Three Saints (Nizhnyaya Tura) began in an unusual way - with an outing into nature.

After the liturgy, those who wished gathered together and went to a picturesque place near the city pond - the Cape of Tourists. Everything went smoothly: a quick safety briefing was carried out, a place for camp was chosen, a fire, a play area and a dining area were organized.

The central event of the day was the “Rope Course”, dedicated to the beginning of the school year. The children, together with their parents, went through a whole series of tests, where each stage symbolized different aspects of school life:

“Good morning” - the participants quickly got out of their sleeping bag, folded it, listed their morning prayers and read one of them. “Breakfast” - the team tried to put the cups together into one pile. “The road to school” - you had to show attention and concentration: carry a container of water on a board without spilling or dropping it. “Lessons” - the guys caught a ball with a basin, and also worked together to solve a problem: roll a cube from one plate to another. “Homework” was a test of ingenuity and patience: it was required to join a gutter from separate pieces and carefully...
