“We are charged with a sunny mood for the school year”: pupils of the Sunday school of St. John the Baptist Church in the city of Nizhny Sergi took part in a hiketranslated

With the blessing of the rector of the parish in the name of the holy righteous prophet John the Baptist of the city of Nizhny Sergi, Priest Anthony Orekhov, the pupils, teachers and parents of the Sunday school went on a traditional hike dedicated to the beginning of the new school year.

Sports relay races and active games were held for children. The stages were prepared by teachers Marina Valerievna and Gennady Gennadievich Simonenko. The guys were able to demonstrate dexterity, endurance, the ability to work in a team and support each other.

Children from the social rehabilitation center for minors in the Nizhneserginsky district also took part in the hike. Joint participation in games and relay races became a good opportunity to communicate, interact and gain new experiences.

“In this format, the guys were able to demonstrate many of the virtues that the Lord teaches us: patience, mutual assistance, kindness and understanding. It is gratifying to see the smiles of children, the care of parents and the positive attitude of teachers. We charged ourselves with a sunny mood for the entire school year and thanked God for such a joyful and generous day of positivity,” shared the director of the parochial school, Natalya Vladimirovna Smolnikova.
