Metropolitan Andrei will participate in the Nicula Colloquiums, organized in memory of the poet Ioan Alexandrutranslated

Metropolitan Andrei of Cluj, Maramureș and Sălaj will participate on Friday, September 18, at the Nicula Colloquiums. The event is organized annually at the Cluj monastery of the same name, in memory of the poet Ioan Alexandru, who sleeps his eternal sleep in the cemetery of the holy settlement.

The event will start at 13:00, with the memorial for the soul of Ioan Alexandru. The service will be officiated by a council led by the Most Reverend Father Andrei. The metropolitan father will be joined in the service by Archim. Iustin Miron, abbot of the Nicula Monastery, and Protos. Grigorie Benea, abbot of the Cluj "Sf. 40 Martyrs" monastery - Gherla Memorial.

From 3:00 p.m., in the "Ioan Alexandru" conference room at the Center for Patristic Studies of the Nicula Monastery, there will be a session of evocations entitled "In Memoriam: Poet Ioan Alexandru (1941-2000)", in which Maria Alexandru, the poet's daughter, will participate.
