Metropolitan Andrei consecrated the chapel of the Râșca Transilvană Monastery, located at about 1,200 meters above sea leveltranslated

His Eminence Father Andrei, Metropolitan of Cluj, Maramureș and Sălaj, consecrated on Sunday the "Assumption of the Virgin Mary" Chapel of the Râșca Transilvană Monastery, a monastic settlement located in the Apuseni Mountains, at about 1,200 meters above sea level.
Metropolitan Andrei spoke about the confession of faith and the responsibility of contemporary Christians, starting from the words of the Savior: "Whoever will testify about me before men, I will also testify about him before my Father who is in heaven. And whoever denies me before men, I will also deny him before my Father who is in heaven" (Mt. 10, 32-33).
His Eminence also evoked the example of the Holy Martyrs Brâncoveni, commemorated on the same day, presenting them as models of steadfastness in faith. In a social context marked by secularization, the metropolitan urged Christians to confess Christ through their own lives.
On the occasion of the celebration, Archimandrite Casian Ioana received the "Transylvanian Cross" for clerics, the highest distinction of the Metropolis of Cluj, Maramureș and Sălaj.
