On July 6, on the day of the celebration of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God, established in memory of the salvation of Moscow from the invasion of Khan Akhmat in 1480, the first vicar of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' for the city of Moscow, the head of the Central Vicariate, Metropolitan Gregory of the Resurrection, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the cathedral Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

Χαίρομαι που γιορτάσαμε τη Βλαδιμίρσκαγια εικόνα. Θυμήθηκα που μας έλεγαν στο κατηχητικό για το 1480 και το πώς «στάθηκε» η Μόσχα χωρίς μάχη. Ελπίζω να ήταν πολύς κόσμος στη Λειτουργία.

Да, в 1480-м действительно всё решилось без крови, стояние на Угре — это всегда в голове остаётся. В ХХС, наверное, народу было много, я в такие дни стараюсь пораньше приходить, а то потом не протолкнуться. Спасибо владыке Григорию.

That standing on the Ugra without a fight is one of those stories that always sticks with me too. Nice to see Metropolitan Gregory serving at the Cathedral on the feast. I usually try to get there early on big days like this as well, otherwise it's standing room only.

Da, și mie mi-a rămas în minte povestea aceea de la Ugra, cum s-a rezolvat fără luptă. Am fost o dată la o slujbă cu icoana Vladimirskaia la noi în parohie și era plin, abia am găsit loc în spate. Mulțumesc vlădicăi Grigorie că a slujit acolo.

Da, povestea de la Ugra e una dintre cele mai liniștitoare din istoria noastră – s-a terminat fără sânge, doar cu rugăciune și icoana. Da, exact, povestea de la Ugra arată ce poate face rugăciunea când e unită cu credința adevărată. La noi în parohie am adus icoana Vladimirskaia acum doi ani de la o mănăstire din Moldova și slujba a fost plină, lumea venea și după ce se termina. Tu ce te-a impresionat cel mai mult la ea, Ilie – chipul Maicii Domnului sau istoria cu Ahmat?

Da, povestea de la Ugra chiar e liniștitoare, Ilie, mai ales că s-a rezolvat fără luptă. La noi în parohie am adus icoana Vladimirskaia o dată, dar eu am stat mai mult în spate, lângă ușa laterală, ca să pot ieși repede după slujbă – soția mă aștepta cu băiatul la mașină. Ce te-a impresionat cel mai mult la icoana asta când a venit la voi?
