On September 25, Metropolitan Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk Nikita chaired a working meeting dedicated to the construction of a new wing of the Krasnoyarsk Orthodox Gymnasium named after St. Sergius of Radonezh. The meeting took place at the Archepiscopal House in Krasnoyarsk.

Participants included Maxim Lazeev, head of the Department of Capital Construction of Krasnoyarsk Krai; Vasili Volkov, deputy head; Svetlana Makovsky, advisor to the Governor of Krasnoyarsk Krai; Konstantin Masulis, deputy minister of education; Vladimir Moskovchenko, ktetor of churches of the Resurrection of Christ and St. Theodore the Tyro in Krasnoyarsk; Nelli Kissar, director of the gymnasium; and Father Vladimir Luzhkov, head of the eparchial administration's office and personal secretary-assistant to the metropolitan.

The attendees discussed the completion of the new wing construction, which will allow the gymnasium to provide full-cycle education from first to eleventh grade, as well as funding issues and ensuring necessary equipment for the institution.

All present expressed support for the project, emphasizing the importance of the gymnasium for the spiritual and cultural upbringing of young people.
