Metropolitan Nikita led the Liturgy on the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Marytranslated

On September 21, on Monday of the 17th Week after Pentecost, on the feast of the Nativity of our Most Holy Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the city of Krasnoyarsk.

His Eminence was served by: the secretary of the Krasnoyarsk diocese, the rector of the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Archpriest Vladimir Dorosh, and clergy of Krasnoyarsk churches.

Liturgical chants were performed by the bishop's choir of the cathedral and the Sofia children's and youth spiritual choir.

During the Liturgy, special petitions and prayers for Holy Rus' were offered. With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, this special prayer is performed in all churches of the Russian Orthodox Church at every service.

The sermon on the sacramental verse was delivered by the cathedral's sacristan, Priest Igor Lytkin.

After the dismissal of the Liturgy, Bishop Nikita glorified the feast of the Nativity of the Mother of God and addressed the worshipers with an archpastoral word, congratulating them on the holiday.
