On August 13, a round table “The practical fulfillment of monastic vows in modern conditions” was held on the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod diocese at the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevo Convent. It was attended by bishops, abbots, abbesses and monastics from dioceses located on the territory of the Volga Federal District.

Before the start of work, the participants of the round table - archpastors and monastics in the priesthood - performed a prayer service with an akathist to St. Seraphim of Sarov in the Trinity Cathedral of the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevo Convent.

Then Metropolitan John of Yoshkar-Ola and Mari, Metropolitan George of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas, Metropolitan of Simbirsk and Novospassky Longin, Metropolitan of Saransk and Mordovia Zinovy ​​and the archpastors who arrived at the conference celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Annunciation Cathedral of the Diveyevo monastery.
