On August 3, 4 and 5, 2026, an archpastoral visit to the parishes of the Kashira deanery took place. Metropolitan Pavel, accompanied by the secretary of the Kolomna diocese, Priest Andrei Zgonnikov, and the dean, Priest Valery Soskovets, toured the churches, got acquainted with the liturgical and economic life of the parishes, and talked with the rectors, clergy, employees and parishioners of the churches. The archpastor also got acquainted with the non-liturgical life of the parishes, visited classrooms where Sunday school classes are held, and assessed the progress of repair and restoration work. At the graves of the deceased abbots and parishioners buried near the churches, a funeral prayer was offered and eternal memory was proclaimed. At the end of the working visit to the Spiritual and Educational Center named after St. Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir at the Vvedensky Church in the city of Kashira, Metropolitan Pavel held a meeting of the clergy of the deanery, at which he expressed his comments on the identified shortcomings, and options and possibilities for eliminating them were discussed.
