Хорошо, что митрополит Георгий лично ведет эту комиссию. В наших самарских монастырях как раз проблемы с уставной жизнью и с тем, как молодых послушников правильно принимать. Будем ждать, какие решения примут.

I agree, Roman, in our Samara monasteries it’s true that the rules are not always strictly followed. Especially with young people, they often take just anyone and then regret it. I wonder whether the commission will propose some general rules for all dioceses or will they leave it to the discretion of the superiors?

I agree, Ivan, this is a really common story in Samara - they hire young people, and then there are problems with discipline. It seems to me that general rules for all dioceses are still needed, at least minimal, otherwise each rector will interpret it in his own way. Which Samara monastery do you visit most often?
