Metropolitan Theodosius led a prayer service at an Orthodox exhibitiontranslated

On September 8, Metropolitan Feodosius of Samara and Novokuybyshevsk visited the Orthodox exhibition “Blessed Samara” and performed a prayer service before the relics of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, which are at the exhibition these days. “Blessed Samara” traditionally unites various areas of Orthodox culture and church life. The stands display products from more than 50 churches and monasteries from various regions of Russia and abroad. The Samara diocese represents a separate pavilion at the exhibition. Here visitors can get acquainted with the activities of diocesan units and Orthodox organizations. While visiting the exhibition, Metropolitan Theodosius approached the stand of the pilgrimage department “Orthodox Samara,” where he talked with the head of the department, Irina Nikolaevna Ponomareva, and got acquainted with the pilgrimage destinations presented. Department staff tell visitors about upcoming trips and help make pilgrimage plans for 2027.
