The Piatra Taieturii Monastery invites the faithful to the shrine dedicated to the Holy Prophet Elijahtranslated

The Piatra Tăieturii Monastery invites the faithful, between July 18-20, to the sanctuary dedicated to the Holy Prophet Ilie Tesviteanul.

The demonstrations will begin on Saturday, July 18, when, at 6:00 p.m., the icon of the "Stabbed" Mother of God, brought from the Archdiocese of Roman and Bacău, will be welcomed. From 18:15 the Vigil service will be celebrated.

On Sunday, July 19, the program will begin at 07:00 with the Akathist of Jesus Christ the Savior, followed by the Holy Liturgy at the outer altar of the monastery, from 09:30.

On the same day, from 18:00, the Most Reverend Father Macarie, Bishop of Northern Europe, will officiate the Holy Olive. At 8:00 p.m., the Vigil service in honor of the Holy Prophet Elijah the Tesvitean will begin, which will include Vespers combined with Litia and Matins.

On the day of the patron saint, July 20, the faithful are expected at 07:00 at the Akathist of the Holy Prophet Ilie Tesviteanul. The central point of the celebration will be the Holy Liturgy, officiated by the Most Reverend Father Macarie, starting at 09:30.
