Lyceum students from the village of Kanevskaya attend an educational lecture on the Commandments of God in the churchtranslated

A series of meetings “Heal by Faith” – four conversations with schoolchildren in grades 5–7 – was held in the “Revival” library of the Church of the Intercession in the village of Kanevskaya (Krasnodar Territory) on September 24. The conversations touched upon the topic of sinful addictions and the interpretation of God’s Commandments.

More than a hundred students of the Lyceum named after twice Hero of Socialist Labor V.F. Reznikov talked with clergy and laity about the fall of the first people, which distorted human nature, as well as how not to become a slave to sin, which is what following the Commandments of God opens for the development of the human personality.

As reported in the public page of the Yeisk diocese, the conversations were accompanied by video presentations and the screening of thematic videos. Afterwards, the lyceum students visited the ancient church and lit candles with prayer near their favorite images of the Savior, the Mother of God and saints.
