The prince has said he’ll veto it, so it looks like the 12-week bill isn’t going anywhere for now. Interesting that a parliament vote can still be stopped by one man in this day and age.

In a country as small as Liechtenstein, that a prince can veto something like that doesn't surprise me that much. Parliament barely approved it, but if Alois has already warned that he will stop it, then it comes to nothing for now. Let's see what happens next.

It seems to me that it is still a good thing that the prince can stand in the way of such a law. In a small country like Liechtenstein, one person can save something that is important for life. We will see what happens next, but I hope that the veto remains.

It's still good that in such a small country as Liechtenstein, one person can stop the law that allows abortions up to 12 weeks. Parliament passed it by a narrow margin, and Prince Alois had already said that he would veto it. Let's see if it stays in effect.
