The ancient Orthodox Church of the Great Martyr George the Victorious was built in 1844. It was hit on June 16 of this year, but then, despite serious damage, the church survived. The destruction occurred three months later.

Initially, the church building was located in the Kursk village of Krupets, but later it was dismantled and moved to Kozino, where it was reassembled and consecrated. The church was classified as a cultural heritage site of regional significance.
