Conference in memory of Protopresbyter Alexander Men in Paristranslated

On October 10–11, 2025, in Paris, at the Colline of the St. Sergius Theological Institute, the international conference “Father Alexander Men: Shepherd for the Age of Secularization” was held, organized by the RSHD and the St. Sergius Institute.
The forum was dedicated to the memory of the outstanding pastor and preacher Protopresbyter Alexander Men and brought together theologians, historians, clergy and laity from different countries of Europe, Russia and the USA. During the conference, reports were given on the pastoral ministry of Father Alexander, his contribution to theology, interreligious dialogue and the spiritual revival of Russia.
On the evening of October 10, participants gathered in the Church of St. Sergius in Paris, where a memorial service was held for Father Alexander. This was followed by memories and personal testimonies of the priest’s spiritual children and friends.
The cleric of the Korsun diocese, Hieromonk John (Guaita), took part in the conference, making a report “Father Alexander, the peacemaker: a relevant voice for Russia,” and also shared his memories at the round table.
