On June 30 and July 1, 2026, the cleric of the parish of the Church of the Ascension in the city of Fanipol, Priest Nikolai Busko, took part in the summer gathering of clergy at the Minsk Theological Seminary.

Priest Nikolai spoke about the history and types of bell ringing, after which he conducted a master class on ringing for the participants of the rally.

Helen CampbellNice to see Father Nicholas sharing his bell-ringing knowledge again. The history part plus the hands-on master class sounds like exactly what those church workers needed at the summer gathering. Did any of the participants get to try the different types of peals themselves?

Olivia CampbellYeah, the hands-on part after the history lesson is what really sticks with people. I remember trying a couple different peals at a workshop last year and it felt way different than just watching. Did they have enough bells for everyone to take a turn?

Антон КомаровДа, Николай всегда всё по делу рассказывает, без воды. Помню, в прошлый раз после его мастер-класса человек пять-шесть реально полезли на колокольню и попробовали сами звонить, а не просто посмотрели. А Ольга права, два дня маловато вышло.
