On September 25, 2026, an event was held at the State Unitary Enterprise "Territorial Center for Social Services of Leningradsky District of Brest": "Seeing with Our Eyes and Speaking with Our Hands."

The International Day of Persons with Hearing Loss is observed on the last Sunday in September. This commemorative date first appeared in 1958, marking the end of the International Week of Persons with Hearing Loss, during which public organizations inform about the rights of people with hearing impairments and the challenges they face in daily life.

The event was attended by R.A. Dydyshko, Chairman of the Board of the Brest Regional Branch of the NGO "BelOG"; Yu.A. Tereshko, Deputy Director of the State Unitary Enterprise "Territorial Center for Social Services of Leningradsky District of Brest"; Deacon Leonid Simonchik, a clergyman from the parish of the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Brest; and participants of the Club "Interlocutors."
