The head of the Krasnoyarsk Metropolis met with a representative of the icon painting workshop “Palekh Iconostasis”translated

On September 25, the first meeting of Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk with a representative of the icon-painting workshop “Palekh Iconostasis” in Krasnoyarsk, Grigory Fomin, took place in the Bishop’s House of Krasnoyarsk.

During the meeting, the parties got acquainted and discussed the prospects for further cooperation in the development of church art and decoration of churches of the Krasnoyarsk diocese. The meeting participants touched upon issues related to the preservation and development of the traditions of Orthodox icon painting, as well as possible areas of joint work.

Metropolitan Nikita blessed Grigory Fomin for further work for the good of the Church of Christ.
